ZACH GIUTTARI

VIDEO ANALYSIS COACH

Zach Giuttari has years of experience coaching hockey players from youth all the way up through the professional ranks. Most importantly, he is still developing and learning every day from world class coaches in order to improve his own play as a defenseman. He can’t wait to teach the new skills and techniques to his clients.

Zach already had a successful professional career in the American Hockey League (AHL) while playing for the Hartford Wolf Pack and the Abbotsford Canucks where he played 139 games before heading overseas to play in Sweden. Zach currently plays for the Växjö Lakers of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). In his first season with the Lakers, the team came in 1st place in the regular season which earned them another birth in the Champions Hockey League.

Before professional hockey, Zach spent 4 years playing hockey for Brown University where he was a 2 time captain and led the Bears to an ECAC semi final during his junior season. He led defensemen in points his junior year and led the team in points his senior year. While at Brown, Zach received a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Economics as well as playing for the Men’s Lacrosse team after the hockey season finished.

Zach went to high school at The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT where he was captain of both the Men’s Hockey and Lacrosse teams. During his time there, the hockey team won both the NEPSAC Large School Championship and the prestigious Founders’ League Title. During this time he also captained the Connecticut Wolfpack to a U-18 National Championship.
